Product Reviews
Ask & Answer

Does this retro matte lipstick have a long-lasting formula that maintains a true matte finish throughout the day?

Yes, this retro matte lipstick delivers a true matte finish with rich pigment that holds up well throughout the day, typically needing only a light touch-up after meals. The colour is intense and long-lasting, making it a reliable choice when you want your lips to really stand out. Keep in mind the formula can be drying, so layering a lip liner underneath and applying a hydrating lip treatment beforehand works best if you have drier lips.

Are there versatile shades available that work for different occasions, styles and can be layered or worn alone?

Does this frost lipstick come in a wide range of shades to suit different skin tones?

Yes, the frost lipstick range offers a variety of shades that can complement different skin tones, from plum and goth-inspired hues to warm bronzes. The collection works beautifully across a range of complexions, including medium neutral and deeper brown skin tones. For the truest colour result, testing your chosen shade in store is a great way to ensure it matches what you see online, as some shades can appear deeper in person than in product imagery.

Are the colours vivid and true to what is shown?

It depends on the shade you choose, as some frost lipsticks in this range lean more into a goth-alt or autumnal bronzed vibe than a classic icy pearl finish. The frosted effect is real but subtle on certain shades, so if you are after a true high-shine pearl look, dabbing the colour over a lighter base can amplify that frosty quality. For the most authentic Y2K result, try layering it on top of a nude or pink liner to dial up the pale, luminous finish.

Does this frost lipstick feel lightweight while still providing a flattering, noticeable colour?

It depends on the shade and your skin tone, but the formula applies silky smooth and delivers a noticeable frost finish with good colour payoff. Some shades can read darker or less frosty in person than they look online, so it works best when you can swatch it first or are open to mixing it with other lip products. If you have medium to deeper skin tones, many shades translate beautifully and the long-lasting formula means you get flattering colour that stays put.
